The “Fight Against Human Trafficking” Programme was introduced at a successful professional conference
For the Programme supported by the Swiss Contribution, we organized a professional conference on May 20, 2026. During the event, which drew nearly 100 participants, the professional content of each programme component was presented in the morning. In the afternoon, the attending experts were able to discuss the most pressing professional issues in panel discussions.
At the beginning of the event, opening remarks were delivered by Adrienn dr. Kisné dr. Szabó from the Ministry of Interior, Alexander Renggli, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Hungary, and Gergő Korponai dr., deputy head of the National Coordination Unit.
The entire professional community was represented at the event: representatives from the Hungarian police, various government agencies, and civil society organizations. In addition, valuable professional connections were established throughout the day.
In the spirit of Swiss-Hungarian cooperation, the Swiss civil society organization FIZ was also represented at the event. In their presentation, they outlined the professional background, operations, and experiences of Switzerland’s efforts in fight against human trafficking.
