Strong Parents, Strong Children! – BOUNCE BACK Parent Workshops
Interreg AT–HUThe Interreg AT–HU project BOUNCE BACK promotes resilience and life skills in Hungarian and Austrian schools. In the cross-border region, parents were invited to take part in workshops designed to help them better support their children in various areas: from choosing the right career path and strengthening reading and critical-thinking skills to building resilience for everyday life.
As part of the project, the parent workshops went far beyond passive listening. Participants actively reflected, tried out new approaches, and shared moments of laughter. Together with the trainers, parents exchanged practical tips, spoke openly about concerns and challenges in raising children, and developed everyday strategies for greater strength and calm.
Parents left the workshops not only with fresh inspiration but also with tangible takeaways such as lovingly designed affirmation notes for their children’s lunchboxes, activity cards for weekly planning, and plenty of ideas for supporting their children positively in daily life.
One participant’s feedback perfectly captures the spirit of the workshops: “Thank you again for the inspiring workshop (…) I’m heading into my day today feeling newly motivated and more at ease.”
