RESULTS OF THE 2014-2020 PROGRAMMING PERIOD

In the 2014-2020 programming period, a total number of 83 projects received support in the framework of the URBACT III programme. The list of implemented projects can be found on the programme website: https://urbact.eu/files/list-urbact-iii-beneficiaries

23 Hungarian partner organisations participated in the implementation of winner projects. This meant a total amount of more than 1,5 million euros ERDF support.  

 

INFORMATION ON THE 2021-2027 PROGRAMMING PERIOD

The programme area has changed following the BREXIT, 27 Member States, as well as Norway and Switzerland participate in the new programme. 

The total eligible ERDF budget of the URBACT IV programme is 79,679 million euros.

URBACT’s mission is to enable cities to work together and develop integrated solutions to common urban challenges, by networking, learning from one another’s experiences, drawing lessons and identifying good practices to improve urban policies.

The URBACT IV programme is organised around one main objective: Integrated Sustainable Urban Development through cooperation - to improve the capacity of cities to manage sustainable urban policies and practices in an integrated and participative way.

Control activities related to the Hungarian beneficiaries are carried out by the Széchenyi Programme Office Nonprofit LLC, based on the Government Decree No. 574/2021 (X.12.)
