RESULTS OF THE 2014-2020 PROGRAMMING PERIOD

In the 2014-2020 programming period, a total number of 138 projects received support in the framework of the Interreg Central Europe Programme. 145 Hungarian partner organisations participated in the implementation of the winner projects. This meant a total amount of more than 24 million euros ERDF support, complemented by 3 million euros of national co-financing.

INFORMATION ON THE 2021-2027 PROGRAMMING PERIOD

The programme area, compared to the one of the 2014-2020 programming period, remains unchanged:


9 EU countries – Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia – participate in the programme.

ERDF funding for the programme is approximately €225 million.

1)    Cooperating for a smarter Central Europe 
2)    Cooperating for a greener Central Europe 
3)    Cooperating for a better connected Central Europe 
4)    Improving governance for cooperation in central Europe

Control activities related to the Hungarian beneficiaries are carried out by the Széchenyi Programme Office Nonprofit LLC, based on the Government Decree No. 574/2021 (X.12.)
