Interregional Cooperation Programmes
Hungary participates four interregional cooperation programme: ESPON providing scientific information to public authorities and actors at all levels through territorial research and analysis; URBACT providing a framework of network between local and regional bodies facing similar urban challenges; Interreg Europe, the policy learning programme for European public authorities and the INTERACT assisting programme's managing authorities and joint secretariats. These programmes are covering all EU Member States and also Switzerland and Norway; in the case of ESPON Iceland and Lichtenstein are participating countries as well.
