Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme Period II

The Framework Agreement between the Swiss Federal Council and the Government of Hungary on the Implementation of the Second Swiss Contribution was signed on 8 November 2022. Under the signed Framework Agreement, the Swiss Federal Council has undertaken to provide a non-repayable contribution of 87.6 million Swiss francs to Hungary in order to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Union and to improve bilateral relations.

The National Coordination Unit (NCU) is responsible for the national planning, coordination and implementation of the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme II - in short the Swiss Contribution - which is carried out by the Deputy State Secretariat for EU Development Coordination within the Prime Minister's Office.

The Széchenyi Programme Office (SZPO), the Intermediate Body (IB), is the body acting under the responsibility of the National Coordination Unit in relation to the beneficiaries implementing the individual support measures, and supports the National Coordination Unit and the Programme Operator in their tasks throughout the whole period of the cooperation programme.
