RESULTS OF THE 2014-2020 PROGRAMMING PERIOD

In the 2014-2020 programming period, a total number of 116 projects received support in the framework of the Danube Transnational Programme. A detailed description of the implemented projects can be found on the programme website:

208 Hungarian partner organisations participated in the implementation of the winner projects. This meant a total amount of almost 31 million euros ERDF support, complemented by more than 4 million euros of national co-financing.  

INFORMATION ON THE 2021-2027 PROGRAMMING PERIOD
The programme area, compared to the one of the 2014-2020 programming period, remains unchanged:

The new Danube Region Programme gathers one of the highest numbers of participating countries among all the Interreg programmes: 9 EU countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany - Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria-, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia) and 5 non-EU countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine - four provinces: Chernivetska Oblast, Ivano-Frankiviska Oblast, Zakarpatska Oblast and Odessa Oblast). 

ERDF funding for projects is approximately € 165 million, complemented by IPA and NDICI funding for non-Member State partners.

Control activities related to the Hungarian beneficiaries are carried out by the Széchenyi Programme Office Nonprofit LLC, based on the Government Decree No. 574/2021 (X.12.)
